Why it exists
csdash started as a personal spreadsheet that kept breaking every semester: new courses, new weightings, new exam dates, and a formula that always needed fixing.
So it became a real app: one place to add a course, define how it's graded, and let the math take care of itself.
Who built it
csdash is built and maintained by Eftihis Papasifakis, a computer science student who wanted a grade tracker that didn't feel like enterprise software.
No team, no investors, no roadmap meetings, just a tool built for the same problem every student has.
What it's built with
A small, boring, reliable stack:
Node.js
Express
PostgreSQL
Vanilla JS
No frameworks
What it isn't
- Not a grade-prediction or GPA-optimization tool
- Not selling your data (see the Terms & data section)
- Not trying to replace your university's official records
